$150.00 The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course teaches child-care providers and others to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. The course covers:
First Aid Basics, including finding the problem
stopping bleeding
bandaging
relieving choking
using an Epinephrine pen
child CPR AED
infant CPR
Options include:
asthma-care training for child-care providers
adult CPR AED
The Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course is intended for people who regularly come in contact with infants and children, including:
child-care/day-care providers
parents and grandparents
nannies and babysitters
teachers and other educators
anyone else with the responsibility to care for children
Course length varies depending on needs and the modules taught, with skills practice and testing by an American Heart Association Instructor during the course.
